I do not want to “burden the viewer with context” and do not want to say anything beyond art itself. Instead, I want to show how sensory impressions, thoughts, feelings, memories, and everything else in the inner world can be a configurator. Therefore, I prefer not to tell things literally but instead through the image. My point of departure is the material. It appears as if the working of the hands is more important to me than the finished work. It is in movement that a person can understand both their own as well as the world’s creative possibilities. It will make me happy if the viewer follows me a bit of the way.
